Job Responsibilities
- The Program Manager (Digital Learning) will lead the strategic design, development, implementation, and management of TiHAN digital learning initiatives. The role involves building high-impact online programs, overseeing digital content ecosystems, managing LMS platforms, leveraging learning analytics, and ensuring alignment with TiHAN National mission and training objectives.
- The incumbent will work closely with faculty members, researchers, industry partners, and internal program teams to conceptualise and deliver innovative, technology-driven learning experiences in Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define the digital learning vision, roadmap, KPI’s, and execution strategy aligned with TiHAN national objectives.
- Work with TiHAN technical and research teams to translate complex engineering domains into scalable digital learning programs.
- Build collaborations with academia, industry, and government stakeholders for co-created digital programs.
Program & Content Development
- Lead the end-to-end development of online programs, micro-credentials, hybrid courses, and certification tracks.
- Oversee creation of high-quality multimedia content, simulations, and digital laboratories ensuring academic rigor, accessibility, and learner engagement.
Platform & Operations Management
- Own TiHAN LMS/LXP platforms and digital learning infrastructure.
- Implement modern instructional design approaches and technology-enabled delivery models.
Program Execution & Governance
- Drive program execution across timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and stakeholder coordination.
- Establish robust documentation, workflows, and performance review mechanisms.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership review and funding agencies.
- Use learning analytics to assess engagement, outcomes, and continuously refine program design
Innovation & Quality Assurance
- Introduce emerging technologies such as AI-driven learning, AR/VR, and gamification.
- Set and enforce standards for content quality, learner experience, and instructional effectiveness.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary digital learning team comprising instructional designers, developers, and media professionals.
- Facilitate internal capability building, design reviews, and best-practice adoption.
Required Skills and Attributes

- Proven ability to design academic program structures, certification courses, and professional development frameworks.

- Exposure to AI/ML, robotics, UAVs, or other engineering-intensive educational content.
Skills and Knowledge
- LMS/LXP platforms: Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone, or similar systems.
- Collaboration platforms: MS Teams, Zoom, Slack.
- Learning analytics: xAPI, Learning Record Stores (LRS), and dashboarding tools.
- Project management systems: Jira, Asana, Trello.
- Immersive and advanced learning tools: AR/VR technologies, simulations, and virtual labs.
- Video-based learning design and production workflows.
- Strong grounding in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and eLearning best practices.
- Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate insights into continuous program improvements.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- PhD (preferred) or Postgraduate degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, AI/ML, Mechanical, or allied disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in digital learning design, eLearning development, educational technology management, or large-scale training programs.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing end-to-end digital learning programs and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong expertise in LMS ecosystems, digital learning standards (SCORM/xAPI), authoring tools, and learning analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of three years of experience working in an academic institution.
